Terms of Service

1. Agreement & who may use Edgekeeper

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Edgekeeper (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 18 years old, maintain a single account for yourself, and provide accurate information when you sign up. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. The service

Edgekeeper is a journaling and analytics tool. It helps you record trades, track prop-firm account rules, and review your own historical performance. Edgekeeper is not financial advice. It provides record-keeping and analytics only — it does not offer trading signals, recommendations, or any view on what you should trade, when, or how. Trading involves substantial risk of loss, and past performance does not guarantee future results.

3. Free & Pro plans

Edgekeeper offers a Free plan with usage limits and a paid Pro plan billed monthly or yearly. Pro billing is processed by Stripe and renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. First-time subscribers receive a 14-day free trial: a payment method is collected at checkout, nothing is charged during the trial, we send a reminder email before the trial ends, and the first charge occurs on day 14 unless you cancel before then. You can cancel anytime — either in-app via Settings → Cancel subscription or through the Stripe billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period (or trial), and you retain Pro access until then. You may also delete your account entirely from Settings at any time; deletion is immediate and permanent, cancels any active subscription or trial, and no refunds are issued for unused time. We may change prices going forward, and will give you reasonable notice before any change affects your subscription. Free-tier accounts may display advertising.

4. Your content

You own the journal data you enter into Edgekeeper — your trades, notes, and account rules. By submitting content to the Service, you grant us the limited license needed to store, process, and display that content back to you as part of operating the Service. We may remove content that violates the law or these Terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract data from the Service;
  • Resell, sublicense, or provide access to the Service to third parties without permission;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service;
  • Abuse, disrupt, or attempt to circumvent the limits or security of the Service; or
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

6. Availability & changes

We make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime. We may add, change, or remove features over time as the Service evolves.

7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or relating to the Service is limited to the amount of fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. If your account is terminated, your data will be handled in line with our Privacy Policy, including any applicable retention or deletion periods.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and material changes will be communicated within the app. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
