Terms of Service

1. Agreement & who may use Edgekeeper

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Edgekeeper (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 18 years old, maintain a single account for yourself, and provide accurate information when you sign up. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. The service

Edgekeeper is a journaling and analytics tool. It helps you record trades, track prop-firm account rules, and review your own historical performance. Edgekeeper is not financial advice. It provides record-keeping and analytics only — it does not offer trading signals, recommendations, or any view on what you should trade, when, or how. Trading involves substantial risk of loss, and past performance does not guarantee future results.

3. Free & Pro plans

Edgekeeper offers a Free plan with usage limits and a paid Pro plan billed monthly or yearly. Pro billing is processed by Whop and renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. First-time subscribers receive a 14-day free trial: a payment method is collected at checkout, nothing is charged during the trial, we send a reminder email before the trial ends, and the first charge occurs on day 14 unless you cancel before then. You can cancel anytime — either in-app via Settings → Cancel subscription or through the Whop billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period (or trial), and you retain Pro access until then. You may also delete your account entirely from Settings at any time; deletion is immediate and permanent, cancels any active subscription or trial, and no refunds are issued for unused time. We may change prices going forward, and will give you reasonable notice before any change affects your subscription. Free-tier accounts may display advertising. Our Refund & Cancellation Policy states all of this at length, including the statutory withdrawal rights of consumers in the EEA and the UK and how to dispute a charge; where it goes into more detail than this clause, it is the fuller statement.

4. Your content

You own the journal data you enter into Edgekeeper — your trades, notes, and account rules. By submitting content to the Service, you grant us the limited license needed to store, process, and display that content back to you as part of operating the Service. We may remove content that violates the law or these Terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract data from the Service;
  • Resell, sublicense, or provide access to the Service to third parties without permission;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service;
  • Abuse, disrupt, or attempt to circumvent the limits or security of the Service; or
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

6. Availability & changes

We make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime. We may add, change, or remove features over time as the Service evolves.

7. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or relating to the Service is limited to the amount of fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. If your account is terminated, your data will be handled in line with our Privacy Policy, including any applicable retention or deletion periods.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and material changes will be communicated within the app. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Edgekeeper Education (the course)

This section adds to the Terms above for Edgekeeper Education, our trading course. Where it says something different about the course, this section applies.

Education only, and for adults

The course teaches how markets and price charts work. Education only, not financial or investment advice. Trading involves substantial risk of loss. It never tells you what to trade, gives no signals, and promises no result. You must be 18 or older to use it.

Your license: personal use

  • While you have access, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to watch, read and practice the course for your own learning.
  • You may not record, download, copy, resell, publish or share the videos, scripts, transcripts, questions, answers or charts, in whole or in part, or use software to collect them.
  • One account is for one person. Don't share your login. Your account can stream on up to 2 devices at the same time.
  • Lesson videos carry a faint mark showing your account's email address, so a copy can be traced to the account it came from.

How lessons unlock, and fair use

  • Lessons unlock as you pass a short check after each one: 4 of 5 to pass, unlimited retries, best score counts. Know a chapter already? Take its challenge test and skip it. Nothing unlocks by date.
  • A chapter's challenge test can be taken up to 3 times in any 24 hours. A capstone exam that does not pass can be taken again 24 hours later.
  • Each lesson video plays through a personal link that expires after 2 hours and is renewed while you watch. An account can open up to 30 lessons it has not opened before in any 24 hours; watching a lesson again is never limited.

Plans, payment, canceling and refunds

Chapter 1 and the Foundations toolkit are free with a free account. Monthly is US$5 a month until you cancel; Lifetime is US$20, paid once. Prices are in US dollars. If Edgekeeper Education isn’t for you, ask for a refund within 14 days of paying, on either plan, from your account settings or with a message from the course’s report form. We’ll refund the full amount to your original payment method. Monthly plans can also be canceled at any time, and you keep access until the end of the month you paid for.

Lifetime means access to Edgekeeper Education for as long as we offer it, including every chapter we add to this course later, at no extra cost. We commit to offering it for at least five years from your purchase. If we ever stop, we’ll give you at least 90 days’ notice, and you can choose either a downloadable copy of the lessons you’ve unlocked or a refund for the unused part of those five years. Your one-month Edgekeeper Pro pass is separate: it lasts one month from when you claim it.

Certificate

This certificate confirms completion of an educational course. It is not a license, registration, or qualification to give investment advice or manage money, and it says nothing about future trading results.

Ending course access

We may suspend or end your course access if you share, record or redistribute course material, share your login, or use automated tools against the course. This does not take away the 14-day refund described above. You can delete your course data on its own, without closing your account, from the course's Settings; deleting it cancels a monthly plan and gives up a Lifetime purchase, so ask for any refund first.
